1. Who we are

2. What data we process
Data you give us yourselves
- Name and surname, e-mail, telephone number
- The date, place and schedule of the wedding
- Billing details, if you ask for an invoice
- The content of our correspondence
Data created by our work
- Photographs and video recordings of your day, including sound
- Technical data about the recordings (date and time taken, settings)
A photograph or a video in which a person is recognisable is personal data. The same rules therefore apply to them as to your contact details.
3. Purposes and legal bases
Preparing and performing the contract — correspondence before the wedding, the shoot itself, and delivery of the work. Without this data we cannot provide the service.
Compliance with legal obligations — in particular accounting and tax documents, which we must keep for the period required by law.
Our legitimate interest — keeping a backup of the work in case you lose your files, and defending any claims.
Your consent — publishing samples from your wedding in our portfolio and on social media. Consent is voluntary and you may withdraw it at any time.
4. Photographs of guests
At a wedding we also photograph and film your guests. We do so on the basis of our contract with you and our legitimate interest in documenting the event as a whole.
Please tell your guests in advance that we will be there — a note on the invitation, in the programme, or a word during the welcome is enough. If any guest does not wish to be recorded, just tell us and we will respect it.
A guest has the same rights as you, including the right to object to processing and to ask for a particular photograph to be erased. We deal with such requests at the e-mail address above.
5. Publication in our portfolio
We publish samples from your wedding on the website, on Instagram or on Facebook only with your consent. That consent is separate — it is not a condition of ordering the service, and withholding it has no effect on the price or the scope.
You may withdraw consent at any time by e-mail. Once withdrawn, we take the material down from our own channels without undue delay. Please note that content already published may in the meantime have been shared by third parties beyond our control.
6. How long we keep data
- Contact details and correspondence — for the duration of our work together and 2 years after it ends
- Accounting documents — for the period required by law
- A backup of the finished work — at least one year from delivery
- Unedited source files — 2 weeks from delivery
We hand over the finished work on a physical USB drive; we use cloud storage only by arrangement with you.
After these periods we delete the data. We keep a backup of the work so that we can help if you lose the files — but it is not an unlimited archive, so please back the work up once you receive it.
7. Who we share data with
We do not sell data. We share it only with those without whom we could not provide the service:
- Web hosting provider — WebSupport
- Cloud storage for delivering the work, if we agree on it — Google Drive
- E-mail provider — WebSupport
- Accountant — Beáta Košárová
- A second photographer or filmmaker, where the package includes one
Where any of these providers processes data outside the European Economic Area, this is done on the basis of standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
9. Your rights
In relation to the processing of personal data you have the right:
- to know what data we process about you, and to obtain a copy of it
- to have inaccurate data corrected and incomplete data completed
- to have data erased where we no longer have a reason to process it
- to have processing restricted
- to object to processing based on legitimate interest
- to withdraw consent at any time
- to data portability to another controller

11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example if we change the tools we use. The current wording is always available at this address and the effective date is shown at the top of the page.
This is a translation provided for convenience. The binding version is the Slovak one, available at Ochrana osobných údajov. In case of any discrepancy between the two, the Slovak wording prevails.
